Born and raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Dr. Jean Carlos Cruz González — known affectionately as Dr. JC — has devoted his career to transforming lives through expert chiropractic care, holistic wellness, and injury rehabilitation. With a strong foundation in pre-med and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Dr. JC earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA. During his training, he developed a passion for comprehensive health solutions, including nutrition, vestibular rehabilitation, functional neurology, and advanced chiropractic techniques. His mission has always been to help patients live pain-free, healthy, and empowered lives.

Professional Journey
Over the course of his career, Dr. JC has successfully treated over 3,000 auto accident cases across Florida, establishing himself as a go-to expert in injury recovery. Following his clinical internship in Washington, DC, he and his wife opened two successful chiropractic clinics in the DMV area (Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia), where they played a major role in improving community health. Their journey later took them to South Florida, where Dr. JC continued to provide exceptional care for trauma and injury patients.

As Executive Clinical Director and Director of Operations for a national chain of chiropractic clinics, Dr. JC led with excellence—elevating care standards and guiding the growth of multiple high-performing locations across the country.

Dr. JC is not only recognized in the clinical setting—he is also a respected voice in national media. He is a regular TV contributor on Telemundo, where he appears live on the national morning show “Hoy Día”, in midday newscasts, and in “Un Minuto de Salud”, a national health segment that airs daily at 9:30 AM. In these appearances, Dr. JC shares expert insights on chiropractic safety, auto injury rehabilitation, and holistic wellness. His credibility and presence on national television have positioned him as one of Florida’s most trusted and visible chiropractic voices.

Dr. JC has now launched his own network of clinics in Central Florida — Element Medical — built on a patient-centered model that prioritizes root-cause correction over symptom management. His team of professionals delivers compassionate, science-based care that empowers patients to take control of their health.

Ruth M. José Santana

Certified Chiropractic Physician Assitant

Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ruth brings a deep passion for healing and a strong foundation in Biomedical Sciences to her role at Element Chiropractic. With years of hands-on experience in patient care, rehabilitation, sports chiropractic support, and personal injury management, Ruth plays an essential role in helping our patients regain their health and confidence.

She studied at Life University—one of the top chiropractic institutions in the country—and is certified in highly regarded techniques such as Graston and Webster. This advanced training allows her to provide a thorough, individualized approach to wellness, supporting patients through various therapies, injury protocols, and wellness education with precision and care.

As one of our Certified Chiropractic Physician Assistants, Ruth collaborates closely with our doctors to ensure each patient receives the highest level of attention, empathy, and clinical excellence. From the first interaction to the final phase of recovery, she is a reliable guide who ensures patients feel safe, informed, and encouraged throughout their journey.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ruth is especially passionate about serving the Latino community. Her cultural awareness and warm communication style allow her to connect deeply with patients, helping them feel understood and supported on every level—physically, emotionally, and culturally.

Outside the office, Ruth is a lover of yoga, beachside relaxation, and a strong cup of coffee. Her positive energy, work ethic, and genuine dedication to wellness make her an invaluable part of our team.
